Site work and paving for a road / highway in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work includes scarification, furnishing and placing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, pavement markings, manhole adjustments, traffic control, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents for Hickman Road from Merle Hay Road to Beaver Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. Bidders must file sealed bids at the designated location by the specified deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8. Contract documents will be available for pickup from the City Engineer's Office at no cost after a specified date. Preference will be given to products, provisions, and labor from Iowa as required by law. Bidders should not include sales tax in their bids, as a sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for project materials. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $1,500,000.00 This project shall be fully completed not later than August 14, 2026
