Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the installation of approximately 50 feet of 6-inch ductile iron water main, 870 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 1,600 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main, 1,060 feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride water main, and 1,400 feet of 12-inch polyvinyl chloride water main. Work includes excavation, installation, backfill, testing, surface restoration, cleanup, connections to existing mains, installation of appurtenances and water service transfers, disconnection of mains to be abandoned, and removal of old surface facilities. PROJECT INTENT A. Replacement of existing water mains for Base Bid 1 as follows: 1. Vilura Parkway from 33rd Street to 30th Street B. Replacement of existing water mains for Base Bid 2 as follows: 1. Lower Beaver Road from NW Aurora Avenue to Bel Aire Road C. Replacement of existing water mains for Base Bid 3 as follows: 1. E Columbus Ave from SE 4th St to 454 E Hillside Ave 2. E Hillside Ave from 433 E Hillside Ave to 449 E Hillside Ave D. Replacement of existing water mains for Base Bid 4 as follows: 1. SE 6th St from Pioneer Rd to 2520 SE 6th St 2. Sidewalk along west side of SE 6th St from Pioneer Rd to 2641 SE 6th St
