Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The improvement includes reconstruction of brick sidewalks, Class A and Class B Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalks of varying thickness including all appurtenances, and PCC ADA-compliant curb ramps, all in accordance with the contract documents at various locations directed by the City Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The bidder should not include sales tax in the bid. A sales tax exemption certificate will be available for all material purchased for incorporation in the project. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes.
