Site work for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work includes the construction of a Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) parking lot, PCC skate ribbon, playground area, concession shelter building, boardwalks, playground surfacing, storm sewer pipe, storm sewer manholes, storm sewer intakes, bioretention cells and plantings, granular subbase, PCC sidewalks and trail, grading, electrical work, pavement markings, erosion control, surface restoration, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including the specified plan file, located at Birdland Park, west of Saylor Road, Des Moines, Iowa. Instructions to bidders include: - Sealed bids must be filed at the designated location by the specified deadline. - Bid security must accompany each bid as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the jurisdiction. - Copies of the contract documents will be available at no cost from the City Engineer's Office after the specified date. - Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, as lawfully required under Iowa statutes. - Sales tax should not be included in the bid; a sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for all material purchased for incorporation in the project. - The project must be fully completed by the specified completion date.
