Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes, but is not limited to asphalt milling, asphalt patching, grading, installation of storm sewer, subgrade preparation, PCC paving, HMA surface paving, PCC sidewalk, erosion control, pavement markings, and surface restoration. Bids will be received for a single General Construction Contract. Bid security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders must be included with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 calendar days after the date of opening. There is a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements. The Iowa Board of Regents reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept the bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
