A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and described in the Specifications, including but not limited to the construction of sidewalk along NY Route 31A in the Village of Medina and Town of Shelby, including a pedestrian bridge over Oak Orchard Creek. This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications must be followed by the successful Bidder. All bids must include the materials in Division 00 03 and 00 04. This is a unit price bid. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Bids to be considered must be received in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the project PIN. The Bidder awarded the Contract will be required to furnish Performance, Payment, and Guarantee Bonds for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to award. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses and pay prevailing wage rates. Bids will not be accepted from entities determined to be non-responsible or those barred from public works. The Village of Medina reserves the right to consider the bids for forty-five days after receipt before awarding any contract, to waive minor informalities, and to reject any and all bids. All bids are subject to final review and approval by the Village of Medina before any award may be made.
