Renovation of a multi-residential development in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 357-unit multi-residential development.

The project involves updating and replacing the electrical infrastructure at Astor Dowdy Towers, Elm Towers, and Morehead Courts, which collectively consist of 357 apartments. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and coordinating all necessary inspections with the appropriate local agencies. The contractor will supply all materials and labor needed for a complete electrical installation, ensuring that all electrical materials, devices, appliances, and equipment are new and bear the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) label where available. Bidders are advised to carefully review the specifications manual and drawings for a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work and job requirements. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. Bids must include the following completed forms: Responder's Statement, Profile of Firm, Cost Proposal, Construction Documents sign-off, Financial Statement or Audit, Non-collusive Affidavit, Section 3 and MWBE Certifications, E-Verify Affidavit, Personnel Certification, HUD-5369-A form, Change Order Acknowledgement form, Environmental 24 CFR 58 Certification, Estimated Project Workforce/Prime/Subcontractor, Compliance with Executive Order No. 11246, Performance/Payment Bond Certification, References/Experience, Bid Bond, and North Carolina Licensure for all Prime Contractors and Subcontractors. Q/A Cutoff Date: 02/09/2026 Q/A Cutoff Time: 05:00 PM EST The HPHA is pursuing a project to update and replace the electrical infrastructure at our three high rise properties. These buildings have a total of 357 apartments amongst the three buildings. The contractor will obtain all permits and coordinate all inspections required by local authorized agencies having jurisdiction. The contractor will provide all materials and labor for a complete electrical installation. All electrical materials, devices, appliances, and equipment will be new and bear the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) label where available. The above list is not exhaustive, and the specifications manual and drawings included in the solicitation should be studied carefully for a comprehensive scope of work and job requirements.
