Furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of Water System Improvements 2024, Well #5 RWTM and NE 80th Street WTM, which consists of: installation of approximately 10,010 linear feet of new 24-inch diameter water main (open-cut and trenchless construction), 520 linear feet of new 24-inch diameter restrained joint water main in steel casing pipe by trenchless construction, 1,860 linear feet of new 16-inch diameter water main (open-cut and trenchless), 1,050 linear feet of new 12-inch diameter water main (open-cut and trenchless), water main appurtenances (valves, fittings, fire hydrants, air release valve vaults, connections to existing mains, and removal of existing mains), installation of 6,245 linear feet of new 2-inch fiber conduit (trenched or trenchless) with handholes and appurtenances, pavement removal and replacement (new sidewalk, shared use path, granular driveway, curb and gutter, full-depth HMA and PCC patches), temporary traffic control, erosion and sediment control (hydraulic seeding, inlet protection, linear erosion control, and SWPPP management), and all other work required by the Contract Documents. Work is to be performed from Sam Wise Park at 1112 1st Street E, along the NE 80th Street / 14th Street NE corridor to proposed Water Treatment Plant No. 4 at 1500 14th Street NE, Altoona, Iowa. Compliance with the "American Iron and Steel" requirement and Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates is required. Bidders must not be listed on the U.S. General Services Administration Excluded Parties List. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
