The Village of Ellicottville is seeking qualifications from engineering firms to assist with tasks related to a range of municipal utility infrastructure improvement projects. The process will select up to three consulting engineering firms licensed in New York State to design, bid, administer, and close out various municipal projects as needed. Selected firms will be responsible for bidding, construction administration, and inspection/closeout activities according to state and federal funding agency requirements and regulations. Submissions should include a firm overview, qualifications for municipal utility engineering, project team details, and references from similar communities. Firms must also provide proof of required insurance coverage. Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format, clearly marked, and include all necessary qualifications and materials. The selection will be based on technical/managerial qualifications, funding experience, past project experience/references, and project team experience. The Village reserves the right to develop a short list for interviews and will negotiate a detailed scope of work and fee schedule with the best qualified firm(s). The Village may amend, withdraw, or modify requirements, and reserves rights regarding the selection and negotiation process.
