Weld RE-5J School District invites qualified firms to submit proposals to provide comprehensive solid waste and recycling collection services for District facilities. The services required include scheduled solid waste collection at all District locations, provision and maintenance of dumpsters (2-yard to 8-yard sizes preferred), recycling collection, and roll-off containers for clean-outs, construction, renovation, or special events. Collection frequencies range from once to five times per week depending on site and season. Emergency or on-call service within 24 hours may be requested, and the vendor must accommodate seasonal service adjustments without penalties. Additional requirements include extra pickups during peak times and optional container cleaning and deodorizing services. The District also requires clear, itemized pricing, demonstration of experience (minimum five years' municipal or K–12 school waste service), compliance with regulations, and a commitment to sustainability and education. Proposers must submit bids electronically or in hard copy and are encouraged to review the site and District needs before submission. The contract term is for three years, with two one-year renewal options at the District’s discretion. Bids will be evaluated based on price, service quality, experience, and the ability to meet stated service needs.
