**As of May 19th, 2026, the project was awarded to GLH Construction with an awarded amount of $173,239.41** Number 0000414685 The Town of Milliken (Town), Colorado is soliciting written sealed proposals from qualified firms to complete an equestrian trail in the Meadow Farms Subdivision. This request for proposal allows the Town of Milliken to select one provider that best meets the needs of the Town, taking into consideration the firm's qualifications, products and service capabilities, and other factors relevant to the Town's policies, programs, administrative resources and budget. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 at 4:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No, All inquiries regarding the Request for Proposal shall be submitted, in writing, to the Town's Office via email to kkoelbel@millikenco.gov The Town of Milliken will contract with a qualified firm to conduct improvements to the Meadow Farms Subdivision by constructing an equestrian trail. Resources available for preparation of a proposal are listed on Pages 33 through 35 of this RFP. Firms are encouraged to review the provided resources, and any others needed to submit a robust response. This project is an inclusive, not-to-exceed contract. The equestrian trail shall include the following components: o Construct the trail conforming to the survey of trail location (easements) to ensure proper placement and avoid encroachments outside of the platted easements. o Confirm the trail alignment with Town staff when necessary. Coordination with Town staff is anticipated during construction of the project. o Clear the trail easement of debris, vegetation and obstacles as needed while minimizing impacts to surrounding areas. Coordinate with private property owners as needed. o Excavate, grade and compact the trail subgrade to 95% compaction, test compaction every 500 feet to ensure long-term durability and stability. Trail should match surrounding terrain after grading and installation of trail material. The project does not contemplate an elevated trail. o Install crusher fines surfacing or similar equestrian friendly materials (Breeze, etc.), ensuring proper 4" depth. o Install six (6), 18" corrugated HDPE drainage pipe with flared end sections. o Incorporate improvements to prevent erosion of the trail and ensure the trail system will not impede stormwater drainage. Please identify all components. o Install signage and trail markers. Please provide a sample of signage with size, signage post and trial markers. o Deadline for completion is not later than June 30, 2026. The Contractor will furnish all tools, equipment, machinery, materials, supplies, superintendence, insurance, transportation, other construction accessories, and servicesspecified or required to be incorporated in and form a permanent part of the construction and completion of the work proposed to be done under this Construction Agreement as described in detail in the Contract Documents ("Work" or "Scope of Work"). In addition, the Contractor shall provide and perform all necessary labor in accordance with the standards set forth in section 6.00 and in accordance with the conditions and pricesstated in the Contract Documents. The Contractorshall further perform, execute, construct, and complete all things mentioned to be done by the Contractor and all work covered by the Owner's official award of this Construction Agreement to the Contractor, such award being based on the acceptance by the Owner of the Contractor's bid, or part thereof. The Contractor warrants that it will ensure that all lower tier contractors and material suppliers, including without limitation subcontractors and sub-subcontractors, will be obligated to comply with the terms of this Construction Agreement as it relates to their own contractual obligations.
