The City of Sandersville is seeking bids from qualified suppliers for the renovation of the Sandersville Police Department's outdoor firearms range. The project includes constructing a 16'W x 80'L x 12'H covered structure with metal covering and an enclosed endcap (metal 16' x 16' enclosed, open to front). The covered structure will also include four 4' LED lights mounted to the trusses and two receptacles at each end. Four 12'L x 3'W center table/bench structures are to be placed underneath the covered area. Additionally, the scope includes removal and replacement of a silhouette structure (target holder) 6'H x 80'L, using 6x6 posts and 2x6 frame. The project also entails ordering and placement of one 10x14 storage building with one light, two receptacles, one standard entry door, and at least one window. Material specifications include treated lumber for all structures, minimum 29-gauge metal for roof covering (Galvalume or any color), 4' LED shop lights for the covered structure, weatherproof receptacles for the covered structure, a standard storage building (any color), standard interior light/receptacle for the storage building, and standard entry door/window(s) for the storage building. Bid submission instructions: Bids must be submitted by March 3, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Three copies of the bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked "POLICE FIREARMS RANGE PROJECT." The bid shall include the total cost of equipment and installation, estimated project start date, a description of equipment features, warranty provided, and a completed W-9 Form. Bids are to be delivered to the City of Sandersville, Attn: Travis Fort, Purchasing Agent, at the specified address.
