Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Liberty, New York. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Work shall include but is not limited to repairs of the existing Worthington, 8MFC13, Sewage Pump(s) including machining, shop testing, installation, startup services and other miscellaneous items to complete the work. The bidder and/or significant subcontractors shall have the requisite experience to perform the project work and provide a list of a minimum of five similar projects ongoing and/or completed over the last ten years with their bid. Labor and Material and Performance Bonds may be required, each in the amount of 100% of the contract prices, as well as a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating required coverage, and a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price at the completion of work. Bids must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent of the amount of the bid. The project is exempt from sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work and separately sold to the Town prior to incorporation. Contractors must comply with State wage rates and relevant labor laws. Bid proposals received after the specified date and time shall be considered unresponsive and returned unopened.
