Description

Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Laconia, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.

The selected vendor will be responsible for proposing at least one alternative feasible location and one additional design concept for a new bandstand on the Weirs Boardwalk. The vendor must evaluate the feasibility, functionality, suitability, and potential view obstruction of the City's preliminary design concept and proposed location. Upon selection of the final location and design, the vendor must conduct a full engineering review of the Boardwalk at the chosen location to determine structural sufficiency, and if necessary, produce engineered plans to reinforce or replace portions of the Boardwalk. The vendor is required to provide professionally engineered and architectural plans consistent with the architectural character of surrounding structures. Construction of the bandstand and supporting structures must be completed in accordance with City-approved plans and requirements, delivering a finished structure meeting safety, structural, and aesthetic standards. Proposals should include company information, project experience, proposed locations and rationale, design concepts, engineering approach, project schedule, and itemized cost estimates. Proposals must be submitted in the required format to the specified address by the deadline. No late or emailed proposals will be accepted.
