The City of Laconia seeks proposals from qualified contractors to seamlessly integrate the existing gazebo with the existing porch structure, creating a unified outdoor space that enhances usability, comfort, and visual appeal at Leavitt Park. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and services as needed to perform the construction services required herein. The Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations. Connection Design o New decking to match the existing gazebo to be placed on the existing porch and east staircase. o Replace west staircase on existing porch with PT for the frame and decking for the steps. o Remove current handrail on existing porch. o Attach the existing porch to the new gazebo with the same decking and handrails. No roof is required. This connection should be fluid as the porch is on slid footings, and the gazebo is atop block. o Construct stairs on the southern end of the existing gazebo with handrail. o Add skirting to the existing porch to match gazebo.
