The City of Laconia seeks proposals from qualified contractors to provide and install a rain roof at the Laconia Fire Department Central Station. The Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and services as needed to perform the construction services required herein. The Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations. Provide and install a rain roof at the Laconia Fire Department Central Station located at 848 North Main Street Laconia, NH. This project should include the following: Strip Siding to create intersect for ledger/beams Remove gutter down-spout Cut and dispose of existing barrier poles, use as post bases Install hanger for beam at corner (solid blocking if required) Install (2) 6x6 Pressure Treated Posts Install Laminated Beam above to carry shed roof, cantilever over last post to extend entrance coverage above stairs. Metal Simpson post and beam connectors at all required locations Install "ridge" ledger against building, secure and flash Frame 5 pitch shed roof with 12" eave overhang, exposed framing including flat ceiling joists, 5/8" sheathing, hurricane bolts/hangers Roof trim and asphalt shingles to match existing, metal flashing at existing building intersects Vinyl soffit to match existing Re-install gutter down-spout to dump onto new roof into new gutter directed to existing subterrain drainage The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part thereof to waive any formality in the process and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this proposal request at any time for any reason. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification.
