The City of Laconia is soliciting proposals from qualified flooring vendors to replace flooring at the Gale Memorial Library. The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part there of, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all the information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Specialist gmastine@laconianh.gov no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposal due date and time. Any changes to the request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. Below is a list of general minimum requirements, the City reserves the right to waive or accept any non-conforming item. The vendor shall submit a detailed list of any items below that are nonconforming specification and add what the substitute offer may be. 1. Remove and dispose of all existing carpeting in the hallway and Rotary Hall. 2. Clean all excess adhesive so new flooring can adhere to rough floor surface. 3. Prep floor for carpet tiles. 4. Prep floor for Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). 5. Install carpet tiles around the perimeter of Rotary Hall. 6. Install LVT in the hallway and the central surface area of Rotary Hall. 7. The manufacturer, style, color, and pattern of new carpet tiles and LVT will be determined by the City of Laconia Library Project Manager. 8. Vendor shall be responsible for obtaining accurate measurements. Question Deadline 04/07/2025
