Belknap County seeks bids from qualified vendors capable of providing asphalt repairs, seal coating. Outside envelopes must be labeled "Asphalt Sidewalk Replacements". Preparation - Remove all existing asphalt and concrete, fine grade, incorporate crushed bank run gravel as needed and compact all areas to receive new asphalt Asphalt Cut & Patch - Add new virgin asphalt to the repair areas. Saw cut, excavate, and remove existing failed pavement and concrete. Replace it with top course asphalt. Power roll for maximum compaction. Asphalt thickness shall be no less than a 2" compacted finish more in areas to achieve optimum transitions and proper drainage.
