Renovation of an industrial development in Crown Point, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.

Sealed proposals are requested for HVAC upgrades at the Highway Garage Building, 1100 E. Monitor Street, Crown Point, Indiana for the Lake County Board of Commissioners. All bids must be sealed and submitted on the Bid Proposal Form in the Project Manual and must comply with Indiana State Form No. 96. Each bid must include a satisfactory bid bond, certified check, or bank draft equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bidders without a principal place of business in Indiana must submit a certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, or money order payable to the Treasurer of Lake County, Indiana. Bidders must provide their Employer Identification Number (E.I.N.), or Social Security Number if no E.I.N. is available. For contracts over $200,000, the successful bidder must execute performance and labor/material payment bonds at 100% and a two-year maintenance bond at 20% of the contract amount. Bonds must be maintained according to Indiana Code and be effective for at least 12 months after contract completion. The successful bidder must comply with Lake County's Responsible Bidder Ordinance. The Lake County Government Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening of bids.
