Site work for a civil project in Crown Point, Indiana. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of the furnishing and installation of all equipment, labor, and materials for the sanitary sewer construction including relevant residential sewage collection systems, pump stations, and mainline connections in Center Township, Lake County, Indiana. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form and must be accompanied by an Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, signed copies of Addenda (if issued), and satisfactory bid security, as set forth in the Project Documents. A certified or cashier's check payable to the Lake County Board of Commissioners or a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to provide separate Performance and Labor and Material Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be constructed under the contract for which a bid is submitted. Bidders shall complete Bid Form 96, Section 00751, Financial Questionnaire and provide Financial Statement which are to be submitted with their bid. The Lake County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it in the public interest to do so. Agoal ofthirteen percent (13%) for MBE participation and two percent (2%) for WBE participation (as percentage ofthe total contract amount)is hereby set forthe project. The individual submitting the request shall be responsible for prompt delivery to the Engineer. To be given consideration, written requests must be received by the Engineer at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
