Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Crown Point, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing a new wastewater treatment plant, which includes the following components: influent splitter structure, raw sewage lift station, headworks building with screening, grit, and odor control equipment, two basin SBR treatment system with blowers, mixers, and decanters, UV disinfection system, low-profile cascade aeration system, outfall line, non-potable water system, sludge processing system including aerobic digester, blowers, mixers, decanter, sludge pumps, centrifuge dewatering, polymer feed, and conveyor system, chemical feed system for phosphorus removal, electrical building, mandatory alternate emergency generator, mandatory alternate lab and office building, and mandatory alternate maintenance building. Bids are to be received for a single prime contract as shown in the Bid Form. Bidding instructions and requirements, including obtaining documents, bid submittals, and further procedures, are detailed in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 90 days.
