Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Service Line Replacement Project - Customer Side Phase 4 will require bids to be submitted online via PennBid. Equipment and services must adhere to specifications on file. A certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid must accompany each submission. Contract winners must provide a performance surety equal to 100% of the contract amount. The project has a 10% minority participation goal for all prime contractors and their subcontractors, with quarterly reporting requirements. Contractors must comply with federal requirements, including EPA regulations, the American Iron and Steel Act, Steel Products Procurement Act, Build America Buy America, and Davis-Bacon wage rates. Contractors must also ensure non-discrimination in employment and solicitation of disadvantaged, minority, and women business enterprises.
