The project is expected to be awarded on March 18, 2026.** Sealed proposals are requested for State Street 2nd-5th Traffic Signal Upgrades for the City of Erie. The project must comply with the PA Prevailing Wage Act (PWA), the City of Erie's MBE and WBE Policy, Act 89 of 2013 Title 75 Section 9511(e.1), and the conditions of the City's agreements with PennDOT and the Commonwealth related to the PA Green-Light-Go (GLG), Local Share Account (LSA), and Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) Programs. Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in the Form of a Corporate Surety Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Certificate of Deposit in the Sum of Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all transportation, material, equipment, labor, storage facilities, services and supervision necessary to complete all work in accordance with the contract documents, drawings, specifications, manufacturer/supplier recommendations and as directed by the Engineer. Any additional work must have advance written approval from the Engineer prior to construction. The Contractor is fully responsible for traffic control, project safety, cleanup and restoration.
