Separate sealed bids will be received for Contract 5 - Re-Route Watermain on Highland Avenue (in front of Ford Dealership), DWSRF Project No. FS010256-03. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from HSA Engineers, Inc. upon payment of $100.00 per set, with an additional $25.00 for shipping and handling. Those submitting a bonafide bid and returning documents in usable condition within ten days after bid opening will receive a full refund. A cashier's check or bid bond totaling at least 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance, as required in the bid documents, are required at contract signing. Bidders on projects exceeding $100,000 must be licensed in accordance with Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, for the type of work proposed. Evidence of such license must be clearly displayed on the outside of the sealed bid envelope. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the date of bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
