U.S. Coast Guard Cutter WEDGE (WLR-75307) is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to provide services for the complete removal and installation of all windows in 14 rooms of the Shore Side Detachment (SSD) main building. Contractor will furnish all installation materials to install windows. Contractor will also perform functionality test and checks of all windows installed with sliding functions. We request contractors furnish labor, materials, and equipment to replace above noted items. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the SOW and it is highly recommended to conduct a site visit to the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc, and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. Complete removal and installation of all windows in fourteen rooms of the Shore Side Detachment main building, including providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the work in accordance with the scope of work and attached specifications. Work requires examining existing conditions, taking field measurements, and becoming familiar with all factors affecting performance. All tasks must be performed following the applicable FAR Part 36 construction requirements and Department of Labor construction wage rates, resulting in a firm-fixed-price outcome based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.
