Separate sealed bids will be received for CONTRACT "4" – RE-BID CONCRETE TROUGH REPAIR AT THE R.J. CHANDLER WATER TREATEMENT PLANT, DWSRF Project No.FS010256-01. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted subject to specified conditions, and the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS (Plans, Specifications, and Bid Proposal Documents) may be obtained from HSA Engineers, Inc. upon payment. Each bidder must file with their bid either a Cashier’s Check drawn on an Alabama bank or a Bid Bond executed by a surety company authorized in Alabama, for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, and evidence of insurance as stated in the bid documents, will be required at contract signing. Bidders bidding over $100,000 must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, and must show evidence of license by clearly displaying the current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the proposal. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
