Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kent, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of March 2nd, 2026, the project was awarded to Rodarte Construction, Inc with an awarded amount of $2,089,290.47** The project includes excavation of a new 1600 LF crock channel on a city-owned undeveloped site known as the Lattle Property. The site is located on the east side of Mill Creek, north of East James Street and east of Woodford Avenue North and includes exist ing utilities including Kent water mains, a King County Wastewater Treatment Division (KCWTD) sewer, and new Lumen infrastruc ture which are to remain active and not be imparted during con struction. An abandoned underground Lumen asbestos cement concrete ducthank is in conflict with the proposed channel relocation. Work shall include removal and proper disposal of Lumen facilities in cooflict with the proposed channel Coordination with Kent water, KCWTD sewer, and Lumen utilities will be required. Work includes excavation of new chan nel, backfill of the existing chan-nel and disposal disposal of of remaining material offsite. The project alsa inchades installation of engineered log sams and wood habitat stru taros, storm drainage work, and parking lot restoration at Kont Memorial Park. The project will require an-water work to connect the new channel into Mill Creck, which shall take place within the mandated fresh-water fish window as determined by the Washington Departinent of Fish and Wildlife, which is from June 16 to September 15, 2028 The Engineer's estimated range for this project is approximately 62,200,000 to 2,700.000.
