Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kent, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of planing bituminous pavement as necessary to prepare the pavement surface associated with the overlay work to be performed by the City of Kent Street Crew. Bids must be clearly marked with the name of the project on the outside of the envelope and addressed to the City Clerk. Only sealed bids will be accepted; no facsimiles or electronic submittals will be considered. Each bid must include a cashier's check, cash, or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Bidders must submit a signed statement with their initial bid regarding previous work subject to the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The City of Kent reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to determine which bid is the most responsive and responsible. No withdrawal of bids is allowed for sixty (60) days after opening. All bids must be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and other contract documents on file with the City Engineer. The Engineer's estimated range for this project is approximately $110,000 to $130,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
