**As of April 8, 2026, project is in the process of being re-bid. No definite date for the rebid.** Hancock County has adopted the electronic bidding process in an effort to make the bidding process more efficient and cost-effective for both the contractor and the County. The primary purpose of the project is to deconstruct elements of the current layout of the Hancock County Treasurers Office within the Hancock County Courthouse, then construct and install newly-designed structures, divisions, counters, and fixtures within that space, and also some elements of a temporary office in another area of the Courthouse for use during construction of the main portion of the renovation project. Should a bidder find any discrepancies or omissions in any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meaning, a request for clarification shall be submitted in writing via the electronic. All question must be submitted no later than 11:30 am on February 5, 2026. Addenda will be issued via the . The Hancock County Commissioners intend to accept the lowest & best bid for the project, but reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in the accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any successful bidder against Hancock County or the Board of Hancock County Commissioners.
