The intent is to define the requirements for Liquid Alum (Aluminum Sulfate) as a Source of Supply for a twelve-month period, with an option for two additional one-year contracts. The product must be 17% Liquid Aluminum Sulfate Technical Grade meeting AWWA Specifications, delivered as needed in tank trucks to various job sites within the City of Meridian, MS. The price shall include all delivery, environmental, and fuel surcharges, and should be good for the specified period. Bidders must submit sealed bids on the provided form, mark the envelope accordingly, and include references for comparable work, MSDS literature, and note compliance or any deviations from the specifications. All bids must be signed in blue ink by an authorized agent. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, or solicit new bids. The service will be provided on an "AS NEEDED BASIS" and materials should be available without undue delay.
