The project consists of replacing approximately 900 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, three manholes, and approximately 30 lateral re-connects. A fourth manhole will be modified in place. The project is located on Madison Ave, between 5th and 7th Ave, and will be installed using open cut trenching. The existing sewer and three manholes will be removed and replaced with new structures. The manhole at Madison Avenue and 7th Avenue will be retained with a new barrel section and modified pipe connection as shown on the project drawings. Bids must be submitted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Contractors must register with QuestCDN.com and purchase the bidding documents to be considered a planholder and eligible to submit a bid. Bid amounts must be entered electronically. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond for 5% of the total base bid as a guarantee. The successful bidder will execute the agreement, provide performance and payment bonds, and insurance certification within 15 days after the notice of award. All contractors are required to conform to the requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon Act. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, or accept the bid which best serves the interest of the owner. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
