**As of March 12, 2026, bids received were rejected. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** The work includes a combination of complete roof replacements and roof restorations on existing school buildings. This project incorporates, in part, Owner-purchased roofing materials provided through the OMNIA Partners purchasing cooperative; Contract #R230404. All work will be completed during the summer break. The Bidder is required to possess a valid State of California contractor's license in classification C-39 (Roofing Contractor) and must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District and must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including the instructions to Bidders. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashiers check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Lompoc Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The Board of Education of the Lompoc Unified School District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in received submittals.
