Renovation of an educational facility in Lompoc, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Removal and replacement of existing exterior windows at Buildings A, B, C, D, E and F. Existing window openings will require minor modifications to accept new dual-glazed aluminum windows. 2. Removal and reinstallation of existing toilet accessories as required to meet current code requirements. 3. Removal and replacement of existing restroom signage. 4. Removal and replacement of existing non-accessible decorative metal entrance gate. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Removal and replacement of existing exterior windows at buildings A, B, C, D, E and F. Existing window openings will require minor modifications to accept new dual-glazed aluminum windows. Removal and reinstallation of existing toilet accessories at buildings A, B, C, D, E & F as required to meet current code requirements. Removal and replacement of existing restroom signage at buildings A, B, C, D, E & F. Removal and replacement of existing non-accessible decorative metal entrance gate. All work will be completed during the summer break; between June 8, 2026 and July 31, 2026. The Bidder is required to possess a valid State of California contractor's license in classification: "B." The Bidder's license must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District and must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including the instructions to Bidders. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Lompoc Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid.
