Site work for a water / sewer project in Delhi, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of Town of Delhi WWTP LW Sludge Removal and Repairs. The bidding documents are available at a specified cost and must be obtained directly from the office of the Engineer. Each bid must include a bid security amounting to 5 percent of the bidder's maximum bid price, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, with bonds executed by sureties listed in U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. If a bond is signed by an agent or attorney-in-fact, it must include a certified copy of their authority to bind the surety. Bids may not be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause according to Louisiana R.S. 38:2214B. Prime Bidders must obtain Bidding Documents from the Engineer; bids from contractors using other sources will be returned unopened. QA date - 2-17-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
