Site work for a water / sewer project in Clear Lake, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work is to replace an existing deteriorated water control structure with a single 11' x 10' box culvert featuring two stop log bays. The project also includes installation of a new catwalk with handrails, aluminum stop logs, and cleanout of the inlet. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources at the specified address or via email, with the subject line of the email stating the project number, project location, and bid letting date. The first page of the emailed attachment or the first of multiple attachments must be the bid proposal. A proposal guarantee of $25,000.00 is required. A. Provide such field engineering services as are required for proper completion of the work including, but not necessarily limited to: 1. Establishing and maintaining lines and levels; 2. Structural design of shores, forms, and similar items provided as part of the Contractor's means and methods of construction; 3. Establishing finish grade stakes (including blue tops) as necessary; B. Additional requirements for field engineering may also be described in other sections of these specifications.
