Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clear Lake, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of the 7TH AVENUE REALIGNMENT PROJECT for the City of Clear Lake, Iowa. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct approximately 10,750 square yards of roadway pavement, 160 linear feet of 18-inch sanitary sewer main, 300 linear feet of 8-inch and 180 linear feet of 12-inch water main, 325 linear feet of storm sewer pipe, storm sewer intakes, subdrain, pavement removal, excavation, aggregate base, sidewalk paving, fixture adjustments, and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup. All work must conform to the plans and specifications, and general stipulations approved by the City Council. Proposals must be submitted on official bidding blanks furnished by the City, sealed and plainly identified, and accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a 100% performance bond and comply with all regulations and contract requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities or technicalities.
