Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ottawa, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This work shall consist of the application of a Bituminous Surface Treatment, Class A, Subclass A-1 and Subclass A-3. Pre-Qualification: Yes. Revise the first sentence of Article 104.02 of the Standard Specifications to read: "The Department reserves the right to make at any time during work, changes in quantities, locations, alterations in work, and the performance of extra work to satisfactorily complete the project." Add to paragraph six (d)(1) of Article 104.02 of the Standard Specifications: "The definition of location is all Townships and Municipalities listed in this contract." This work shall consist of the application of a Bituminous Surface Treatment, Class A, Subclass A1 and Subclass A-3, in accordance with the applicable portions of Check Sheet #LRS9 of the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions. The work shall be done in various widths and locations as shown on the enclosed Summary of Length sheets and Location Maps.
