The project includes approximately 3,700 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 7,600 tons of dense graded base, 1,825 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement, 2,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 2,800 linear feet of reinforced concrete storm sewer, 2,100 linear feet of ductile iron water main, common excavation, restoration, appurtenances, and miscellaneous items. The bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the owner in an amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
