Asbestos abatement and related remediation services are required to support primary, extended, and specialty care operations at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. Work will be performed under multiple task orders issued through a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Services include abatement of asbestos-containing materials and associated activities across various locations on the hospital campus. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the remediation services in compliance with applicable Federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all governing VA requirements. Activities may include removal of hazardous materials, cleanup of contaminated building components, and execution of tasks necessary to maintain safe and healthy hospital environments. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum of $25,000 and a maximum value of $2,500,000, with individual task orders issued between $25,000 and $500,000. This notice seeks information from interested firms to determine appropriate acquisition strategies and business classifications for potential future solicitation. Companies shall provide business details, abatement experience in hospital settings, intended self-performance levels, subcontracting approaches, bonding capacity, and qualifications of any proposed subcontractors.
