Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Eastman, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This project consists of the replacement of the existing High Intensity Runway Lighting (HIRL), signage, and windcones at Runway 02-20 at the Heart of Georgia Regional Airport. Bidders are required to inform themselves of and comply with Georgia laws. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the total contract amount. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds as specified in the contract documents. Surety and insurance companies must meet specified rating and licensing requirements. Bids will only be accepted from registered plan holders, and bid documents must be purchased through the specified website. Bids may be submitted in paper or electronic format, with detailed requirements for each method, including bid bond provisions for electronic submissions. Mandatory federal requirements apply, including but not limited to the Davis Bacon Act, Copeland Act, and Buy American Preferences. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or to reject any or all bids. Instructions to bidders include the proper submission of bids, requirements for bid documentation and bonds, compliance with federal and state law, and procedures for obtaining bid documents. No bid may be withdrawn within 120 days after the bid opening. Only bids from registered plan holders who have purchased bid documents from the specified site will be accepted. Electronic bids must be in PDF format and secured with a bid bond. Paper bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, with specific mailing instructions outlined.
