Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Lincoln City, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The general nature of work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the completion of the design and construction of a new septage receiving station and an upgrade to the Grit Handling Area. Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Public Works Department at Lincoln City in a sealed envelope, identified on the outside with the project name, bid date, time, and the proposer's name. Proposal documents can be obtained by emailing Amanda Sawyer. All questions or requests for clarification must be directed in writing to the Project Engineer, Terry Chamberlin. Written questions must be received by the Project Engineer by 5 PM PST on March 3, 2026. Any verbal responses from any source by bidders are considered informational only and should not be relied upon. The cost for the Project is budgeted in FY 25-26 at $600,000 by City of Lincoln City. The Design/Build team will determine a budget to complete this project as part of Phase 1. The City will obtain the funding from City Council Design and construct a new septage receiving station and an upgrade to the Grit Handling Area. Septage Receiving Station - The existing septage station receives septage from unincorporated areas within Lincoln County and Vactor truck contents. The existing septage receiving station includes a dumping pad with 10-foot tall walls on three sides and bar screen for Vactor trunk dumping, and a metered pump-off connection for septage hauling trucks. Septage and Vactor truck contents passed through a Saveco drum screen prior to discharging to a recycle pump. The pump station conveys screened septage, Vactor truck, and all other side stream contents to the WWTP headworks. The existing septage receiving station was build in early 1980's This project is to design and construct an upgrade to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant Septage Receiving Station and the Grit Handling System. 2. Complete the CAD work for the design improvements. The Project shall provide improvements that meet the following performance and design criteria. 1. Meets Lincoln City's Building Code 2. Meet all the requirement of Public Works Design Standards 3. Project shall submit electronic As-Constructed Drawing
