Site work for a road / highway in Artesia, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Abatement of voluntary wall and floor materials is required in designated imaging and administrative spaces, including the removal and disposal of affected materials in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Work includes providing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to safely complete the abatement, ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, safety, and health regulations. Services must be performed using industry-standard methods that minimize disruption to ongoing operations while restoring the affected areas to a clean and compliant condition. Work Shall begin on or before 12 February and all work shall be complete within no more than two (2) days. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, tools, and incidentals necessary to fully reconstruct approximately 300 linear feet of roadway shoulder. Work includes excavation of failed material, subgrade preparation, installation of mechanically compacted aggregate, precision grading, and establishment of positive drainage control. The intent is to construct a stable, compacted, load-bearing shoulder section designed to prevent recurrence of erosion, rutting, and water retention. All work shall be performed in accordance with: o OSHA safety standards o Environmental protection best practices o FLETC security and access requirements o Industry standards for roadway shoulder construction, compaction, and drainage control
