**As of February 17th, this project has been awarded to Causey Underground Construction for $164,000.** The work involves providing equipment for the Proposed Marion DWSRF Critical Needs Infrastructure Improvements Project Phase 1, Contract No. 8 - Marion Water Treatment Plant Backwash Pump and High Service Pump Replacement, DWSRF Project No. FS010248-03. The principal items of work include removing the existing vertical backwash turbine pump and installing a new vertical turbine backwash pump, as well as making electrical connections. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The contract time is 60 consecutive calendar days, and liquidated damages will be assessed if this time is exceeded. All applicable Federal guidelines must be met, and the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid. There will be no pre-bid conference.
