The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for constructing the improvements as described. For Contract “A,” the principal work includes furnishing approximately 1,215 AMR meters, 750 meter boxes, 607 backflow valves, 415 curb stops, a data collection unit with start-up and support, applicable software, and ancillary system support. For Contract “B,” the principal work involves installing approximately 1,215 AMR meters, 750 meter boxes, 607 backflow valves, and 415 curb stops. This is a Build America Buy America (BABA) project, requiring letters from manufacturers for all material used. All work must adhere to the specified contract times (60 days for Contract “A” and 275 days for Contract “B”), with liquidated damages assessed for any delays. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal guidelines, and all bids must be submitted on time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. No prebid conference will be held. Doc Notes: The deposit shall be refunded in full to each prime supplier submitting a bid. Additional sets for prime supplier bidders, subcontractors, vendors, or dealers may be obtained upon payment of the same deposit.
