Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Marion, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of providing equipment and performing the tasks outlined for the Proposed Marion DWSRF Critical Needs Infrastructure Improvements Project Phase 1, Contract No. 9 – Marion Water Treatment Plant Emergency Structure Demolition Project DWSRF Project No. FS010248-03. The principal items of work include: (1) demolishing the Lime Silo and disposing of construction debris; (2) demolishing the abandoned well head and its concrete pedestal and disposing of construction debris; and (3) removing the diesel tank and demolishing its concrete pedestal. The contract period is 45 consecutive calendar days. Time is of the essence, and liquidated damages will be assessed if the contract time is exceeded. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid. Please note the Bid Packet can be submitted electronically prior to the bid date and bid time. The documents should be sent to rhawkins@uecllc.com and copy dexterhinton2@gmail.com.
