Site work and paving for a road / highway in Latimore Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
All proposals must be submitted electronically via PennBid. Sealed Proposals will be received on or before 11:00 AM on the letting date. Bids will be opened and read at approximately 7:00 PM on the same date. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. LOCATION OF WORK: Myers Road (T-633), from SR1005 to County Line Road (T-642), approximately 0.80 miles in length by 10 feet wide. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor do the work for Ashpalt Surface Treatment as per Pub 408, Section 480. After that contractor to place a single layer bituminous seal coat as per Pub 447, MS-0340-0005. Contractor responisable for all traffic control. Municipality wil supply the material for the project. Prior to bidding please contact municipality represenative for any questions.
