Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Greenville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals for the "Washington Street Resurfacing - Bank Street to 2nd Street" project will be received by the Borough of East Greenville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, via PennBid. The project will consist of milling the existing roadway and placement of approximately 3,900 SY of 9.5 mm wearing course on Washington Street between Bank Street and 2nd Street in the Borough. Placement of approximately 170 tons of a leveling scratch course is included. Items for sweeping and preparation, and joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes will be incidental to the project. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of East Greenville. Award of contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. The Contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment.
