approximately 20,000 SY of "Asphalt Seal Coat followed by Type II Slurry Seal (CAPE SEAL) applied complete in-place," and approximately 18,000 SY of "Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course Overlay applied in-place" Contract will be for one year with two one-year optional extensions. All submitted bid envelopes shall be clearly marked: "Sealed Bid - CAPE SEAL AND ULTRA-THIN BONDED WEARING COURSE OVERLAY." All bidders are required to submit non-collusion affidavits (provided with bid package) and material safety data sheets (if applicable). Performance Bond with Workers' Compensation Affidavit and Certificate of Insurance must be provided by successful bidder. Bid specifications are on file and open for public inspection at the Municipal Building and may be secured from the Township Manager. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee acceptable to the Township in the sum of ten (10%) percent of the bid and drawn to the order of Upper Hanover Township. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the date of reading of bids. Bidder is required to comply with the provisions of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (43 P.S. 167.1, et. seq.), as well as any regulations promulgated thereunder (4 Pa. Code Ch. 66).
