The scope of work includes installation of concrete curb (150 ft) and sidewalk (600 sq ft) and related work. The successful bidder will be required to pay the PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value, with a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and are responsible for the awarded bid fees. Attention is called to requirements including Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, equal opportunity provisions, payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. All Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 - Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid.
