The scope of work for this project includes 1 new manhole installation, 10 lateral reconnections, installation of 300 LF of 8" sanitary sewer pipe, and related work. Work Included: The intent of the project is to install a new manhole, 300 Linear Feet of 8" Sanitary Sewer Pipe, 10 Lateral Connections, and street resurfacing at the intersection of Rosemont & Hinckley in the Borough of Ridley Park. The list of streets and scope of work is included in these specifications. Related Work: All areas disturbed during construction shall be restored to its original condition or better. The Contractor shell be responsible to replace any curb, sidewalk, signage, parking meter, etc. per the lump sum restoration item. No additional monies will be given to the Contractor to restore the site. All pavement restoration areas shall be neat, straight, joint lines. Narrow asphalt strips between curb and trench (2 feet or less) will not be acceptable. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Ridley Park. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.
